Sports and exercise

The human body is like a machine; therefore, it needs frequent maintenance and use. Involving in sports and exercise makes use of the various joints in our body and helps in the effective maintenance of the body.

Recent studies have shown that people involved in some form of physical activity or sport have high immunity to diseases.

As the saying goes, “a sound mind resides in a sound body;” having a healthy body helps us have a healthy mind and a positive outlook on life.

The advantages of being involved in sports are:

  1. Being involved in sports produces lots of good leadership qualities in people, but more than that, it invokes a sense of bonding, teamwork, and working together to get the desired result.
  2. It improves their self-confidence and boosts their morale.

  4. It increases strength, lean mass, stamina, and endurance.
  5. We start looking at things from a different perspective. Every hardship in life is related to training; there is no obstacle too big that we cannot overcome by practice and hard work.
  6. It improves their mood and keeps them happy.
  7. We can get a great sense of satisfaction upon completion.
  8. Exercise reduces the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.
  9. Reduces blood pressure and melts the fat stored in the body.
  10. Reduces anxiety and depression and promotes psychological well-being.
  11. The movement controls joint swelling.
  12. There is improvement in the joints and functions of those with arthritis.
  13. Enhances the ability to do everyday things in life, free of pain and restrictions in movement.
  14. Reduces the risk of falling among senior citizens.
  15. Sports or exercises improve coordination and build muscle strength.
  16. Higher BMR helps to maintain a lean physique.
  17. Lower resting heart rate.
  18. Youth learn accountability, responsibility, and sacrifice.
