Sports, an important tool for healthy life

The human body is like a machine and it needs frequent maintenance and use. Being involved in sports makes use of the various joints in our body and helps in the effective maintenance of the body.

Recent studies have shown that people involved in some form of physical activity or sport have greater immunity to diseases.

Being involved in sports produces lots of good leadership in people; but more than that it invokes a sense of bonding, team work and working together to get the desired results.

As the saying goes “a sound mind resides in a sound body” having a healthy body in turn helps to have a healthy mind and a positive outlook on life.

Sports is an important tool, as it teaches kids and youth, values like discipline, responsibility, accountability, sacrifice and self confidence, which are not available on the internet or the television per say.

Improves mood, decreases anxiety, depression, and promotes psychological well being, increases feeling of well being, instills confidence, keeps them happy.

Dynamic and creative intellectual activity, cures insomnia.

Feel better on the inside as well as the outside. Gives a great sense of satisfaction upon completion.

Help people with chronic disabling conditions.

Helps to control joint pain and swelling.

Improvement in the joints and functions of those with arthritis. Ability to do the every day things in life free of pain or restrictions in the movement.

Higher BMR which in turn helps us maintain a lean physique.

Burns calories, helps one lose fat and stay fit and healthy.

Builds muscle, maintains healthy bones and joints. Increase in strength, lean mass, stamina, endurance.

It gives a different perspective to life. Every hardship in life is related to training, that is, there is no obstacle too big that cannot be overcome by practice and hard work.

Keeps youth and people away from drugs and other harmful substances.
